USAAF WW2 AN-H-15 Cloth Flying Helmet With Peak

This helmet is in excellent condition. The AN-H-15 flying helmet is made from khaki cotton twill cloth with chamois lined forehead peak and was used for summer flying. The helmet has Rubber earphone mountings with interior kapock stuffed chamois ring pads, leather goggle strap retaining tabs and United Carr stud fittings for oxygen mask attachments. The label reads – Spec. AN-H-15, Large, order no. 44-2881-AF, St No. 8300-401510, Bates Shoe Co. Army Air Forces.
