WW1 Pair awarded to 31200 Pte. J E Hart, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. Born in 1888, Manchester, a clerk by trade. Hart joined the Army on 11/12/1915. He served in Egypt for 17 months and France and Flanders for 8 months. He was medically down graded due to rheumatism and served the remainder of the war in 115th  P of W Coy, Lobour Corps (number 612236). Transferred to reserve 19/2/1919. Swing mounted on period brooch with original ribbon, comes with copy of papers.
