WW1 Trio And Extras PTE William Jenkin

MID (officer) awarded to 2452 PTE William Jenkin, Honourable Artillery Company.

William Jenkin Served as a private in the honourable artillery company (Infantry 1st battalion) territorial force he entered the theatre of liar on the 27th of April 1915 (France and Flanders). On the 20th July 1916, Jenkin was given a commissioned with the army ordinance department serving as acting 2nd lieutenant. He was later promoted to captain and then later major.

Whilst holding this rank he was awarded a mention in dispatches (MID) he relinquished his commission, ceasing to hold the appointments of DADOS on 22nd July 1919 .
