85269, 22nd BTN. Durham Light Infantry (3rd County Pioneers)
Born in Sunderland,1899, an electrician by trade.
He enlisted in Sunderland and served with 2nd T.R BTN, 52nd (GRAD) BTN.
DLI 7th west Yorks and 22nd DLI reported missing, later listed as KIA 27 May 1918.
Remembered with honour in Soissons Memorial
