1914 (Mons) Star & Victory Medal Awarded to 63642 Dvr. Charles Hook, 40th. Bde. Royal Field Artillery. Entered the theatre of war – 19/08/1914 and was discharged – 26/09/1916. 40th. Bde. were entitled to the 1914 clasp. The 1914 Star is named to F. Hook (C. Hook on the Victory Medal), numbers and copies of the m.i.c. and medal roll verify this is the same man.
