Ranger Regiment Badge

The Ranger Regiment is a new British Infantry regiment, formed on 1 December 2021 under the Future Soldier reform. It is part of the Army Special Operations Brigade (ASOB). It will be used  primarily in an unconventional warfare role and foreign internal defence role. This new regiment is made up of 4 battalions from 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland, 2nd Battalion Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment, 2nd Battalion Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment and the 4th Battalion The Rifles. The new regiment will sit within the re-designated Specialised Infantry Group (Army Special Operations Brigade). New badge manufactured by Firmin.
