British WWI MKI Brodie Helmet – 1916 Pattern
Leather chinstrap intact oilskin liner is complete with netting crown.
Cushion ring has rotted away but the cloth base remains and the original paper fitting label.
Shell stamped – HS 257 (Hadfield LTD. Sheffield)
Liner ink stamped on the underside.
Some original paint still remain to the interior shell.
Liner securing rivets are still attached but the liner has become detached from the leather retaining strap.
