French 2nd Parachute Chasseur Regiment (4th. SAS) Beret Badge. Listed as 4th. Special Air Service with the British Army in WW2 and as 2e Regiment De Chasseurs Parachutistes with the French Army. They used the standard cloth SAS beret badge originally and adopted  this badge in 1944 through to 1946. They fought during the Second World War and then in Indochina. These badges are rare. They were made in Britain (as this version), Ceylon and Indochina. They were re-organised in 1946 when new insignia was introduced. Insigne de beret du 2e RCP.
