Citation reads – National order of the Legion of Honour. The President of the Republic of France, Grand Master of the National Order of the Legion of Honour. Appointed by decree of the day, Mr. Jean Raoul Binon. Inspector General of Education, Technical advisor to the General Directorate of cultural, scientific and techniques. July 24th 1921, North Lille. Knight of the Legion of Honour, to take place April 28th 1975 and enjoy all rights, honours and privileges accruing to such. Done in Paris on 23rd December 1970.
The citation has a little staining, Knight Class medal in very good condition. Frances highest award.
