The Military Cross was instituted on the last day of December 1914. Originally awarded to Captains, Lieutenants and Warrant Officers but was extended to Majors in 1931. Since 1993 this medal was also available to other ranks as a result of the Military Medal being discontinued. Top quality reproduction in silver plate. Available E11R and GV1.
