WW1 And WW2 Group awarded to 19/464 Pte. Edward Fenton 19th. Battalion Durham Light Infantry (Bantam Battalion, 2nd County Pals)

Born in 1897, Crook, County Durham and later resident of Consett, County Durham. A former miner, 4 feet 7 inches tall. One of the original 19th. Battalion with pre fixed Btn. number.

WW2 trio (1939-45 Star, France And Germany Star and British War Medal) awarded un-named but come with box of issue addressed to Mr. E. Fenton. Back of the box has the issue details as Territorial and Auxiliary Forces of County Durham, 53 Old Elvet, Durham.

All medals are on original ribbons and in good condition. Pte Fenton’s WW1 service records are available online along with other civilian records.
