First World War British War Medal awarded to 1310 Dvr. Norman Bland Royal Artillery. Born in Bradford, Yorkshire, a warehouseman by trade. Norman Bland joined the Army in May 1914 and entred the theatre of war 11 months later, France and Flanders. Originally part of 2nd. W.R. Bgd. R.F.A. Territorial Force. Bland was awarded the Military Medal whilst serving with B/246th. Bge. (London Gazette – 23/7/1919). Comes with copy of service papers etc.
