WWI Livens Projector Bomb (INERT)
Designed by CPT. William Howard Livens (Royal Engineers) in 1916.
The projector was a type of trench mortar used by the British army in WWI.
Around 140,000 projectors were manufactured and approximately 400,000 bombs.
The bombs were filled with flammable oil or chemical agents, they would detonate on impact.
Rare projectile, repainted.
