WWII German M40 Helmet – Issued to Austrian Gendarmerie early post WWII (1945-55)
Complete with Austrian Gendarmerie “Flaming Grenade” helmet insignia; fitted to left side of the helmet (when worn)
Helmet stamped – ET66 – 6072 (Eisenhuttenwerk Thale/Harz)
Complete with liner and chin strap.
Grey paint on interior of the shell and paint on the outer shell.
Good overall condition quite a rare helmet.
